Escherichia coli bacteriophage T1 is a virus that infects and replicates in Escherichia coli strain B (ATCC 11303). This product has been cited in various studies for use as a surrogate for mammalian viruses to test the efficacy of antiviral strategies such as air filtration, sanitizing agents, and ultraviolet germicidal irradiation.

Py230 is an epithelial-like cell line that was isolated in 2004 from the mammary gland of an adult female mouse with adenocarcinoma. This cell line was deposited by L Ellies.
